My cousin and I booked a private 3-day desert tour during our trip to Morocco, and it was truly unforgettable. Our guide, Aziz, and his team were incredibly helpful—especially when our journey to the desert took longer than expected. Even though we arrived late at night, they were there waiting for us and kindly drove us straight to our first desert camp.
The next day, Aziz took us on a beautiful hike across the sand dunes to a Berber village, where we enjoyed a traditional Berber meal cooked underground. It was a one-of-a-kind experience! Aziz was friendly, easy to talk to, and shared a lot of interesting stories about Morocco’s history and Berber culture.
From start to finish—Aziz, the team, the food, the desert camps, and even the camels—it was a perfect experience. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an amazing desert adventure in Morocco. You won’t regret it!

This Sahara trip was even better than I expected. Ahmed & Aziz were amazing guides—friendly, thoughtful, and very connected with everyone in the group. On the few parts of the trip when we had other guides, I actually missed having them around! They take time to understand each person, speak your language, and really make you feel welcome and cared for.
During the journey, you see and learn so much. Moroccan people are some of the kindest, most respectful, and generous I’ve ever met. You’ll feel surprised and touched by how much love locals have for their culture and land.
Honestly, the 3-day Morocco Desert tour is so well-organized and full of special moments that it feels like it should cost more.
One small note: most of the food was okay, but the dinner at the luxury desert camp was something special—so tasty and truly unforgettable.

We arrived at Morocco Desert Excursions through the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Contact 7 months before the trip via email was good and there was thought along. The price was good and we liked that it is a private tour, so you are alone with your own family. A small deposit via pay pal is sufficient to confirm the reservation, the rest in cash during the tour. (In Euros)
Omar Karaoui was our fantastic driver and guide. We spent a lot of time together for 5 days and that was fun; we could ask anything about the culture or the places we went to, and Omar also wanted to know everything about the Netherlands and about us. He was at the agreed place on time every day, speaks perfect English, drives safely and knows people everywhere to make it as fun or easy as possible for us. When dropping off in Marrakech, he even arranged for someone to take the suitcases through the busy medina to our riad. Totally awesome…
